- First thing to remember is that keeping fit even for the healthy person is a challenge but once a routine is exstablished, then you will actually feel guilty when you don't. Having said this now, any excercise or phyical activity is better than nothing at all. Any form of cardio exercise is going to help. Cycling, brisk walk, jogging , elpitcal or setpping program. Doesn't matter as along as you do it. Change the routine up to keep it interesting to do. Also learn how to manage the carb intake in your diet and your are on your way (in most cases) to managing your blood sugar levels. I wish you the best of health!
