The Emotional Side of Diabetes

Finding out that you have diabetes can feel life altering. After the initial diagnosis, there is a large amount of information that is given to you in a short amount of time. Sometimes it can be really overwhelming, especially as you try to fit the new way of thinking and living into the life you already have.

But eventually it all starts to make sense and life does get better. There is support out there. About.com's Diabetes Forum is one such resource. Many people with both type 1 or type 2 post there.
