Airplanes, Chocolate, and Insulin Pumps... The Diabetes Forum Has it Covered

The Diabetes Forum covers a lot of informational ground every day. This week's topics cover everything from what to bring on an airplane, to what's the most diabetes-friendly chocolate, to starting on an insulin pump.

New member Timcrowell asks, I am going to see the pump educator tomorrow and found out my insurance pays for the pump and injectors. I have been trying to educate myself about the pumps as well as insulin and current diabetes and am in info overload. I would like to hear about others...read more.

Maamgrey answers, I LOVE using a pump - well as much as you can LOVE anything about diabetes - because it it so much easier to use than injections. Good luck and feel free to ask any questions. I felt overwhelmed at first, but like everything, it just takes practice to get comfortable with it...read more.
