Coughs and Colds and Diabetes

This is the time of year when colds and flu start taking their toll. Aches, pains, fevers, sore throats and drippy noses are hard enough to take. Add diabetes and some of it's accompanying complications, like cardiovascular disease and high blood pressure to the mix and it becomes even more difficult.

Many over-the-counter cold and cough medicines can affect your diabetes. How do you know which ones are okay to take?
