Painful Injections? The Diabetes Forum Has The Inside Story...

Thursday July 12, 2007
The Diabetes Forum here at About.com is a happening place that's open pretty much 24/7, with folks dropping by to talk, share and sometimes ask questions of other members. This week "Georgenew" asks,

"Why are my injections hurting alot at the moment? I have tried pinching as well but that hurts even more!! Does anybody have anything that can help me? Thanx, george."

Adriennesmema answers,

"Question... I am very thin and need to pinch an inch, are you skinny? If not, do not pinch... have you changed the angle you are injecting.. every once in a while I realize I am not doing it the same way... ie..too much of an angle... or too straight. Have you changed insulins? Are you letting it come to room temperature? Any of these can make a difference.... Good luck..."
