'Tis The Season... To Get Those Cookies Baked!

Tuesday December 19, 2006

The Holiday season is upon us, and if you're like me, you've put off making your cookies until... right this very minute. Finding good cookie recipes that are low in fat, calories and sugar can be challenging, especially traditional cookies like cut-outs and sugar cookies. If you or a family member has diabetes, it becomes even more difficult to find acceptable recipes.

Look no further. Here are some cookie recipes from the American Diabetes Association that are as close to the originals as you can get, and the fat and calories have been reduced.

Happy Holidays and Happy Baking!
